Louder Than Thunder

What would it take for things to be quiet?
Quiet, like the snow.
And I know this isn't much but,
I know I could I could be better.

I don't think I deserve it;
Selflessness.
Find your way into my heart.
All stars could be brighter.
All hearts could be warmer.

What would it take for things to be quiet?
Quiet, like the snow.
Are we meant to be empty handed?
I know I could I could be better.

I don't think I deserve it;
Selflessness.
Find your way into my arms.
All stars could be brighter.
All hearts could be warmer.

What would it take for things to be quiet?
[a song that has been in my mind all day]

Tio Jun Loayza

I have been thinking a lot about my family and then i decided to write about my uncle

His dad, Jorge Loayza, is my dad's uncle from his mom's side. Jorge had kids late. so his son is my uncle.
when i was a little kid i would call him my cousin since we were around the same age, but in technicality he's my uncle.
So then yeah Jun is my uncle... in case if anyone was wondering why he looks young.

Jun's an entrepreneur. He is the CMO and Co-Founder of Future Delivery. He's 23 years old and graduated from UCLA 2007. He has been a pretty good role model to me, he's the only one around my age group in my family that has college degree. he's an ambitious guy and striving to make it well in this world and wants to make his family proud. he works hard (really hard about 70-75 hour work weeks since i have last spoken to him), what comes first is his career and i admire that. he will get far in his life. He wants me to become an intern for his company this summer, yet i am unsure if i should since i am gonna serve a mission. who knows i may even intern for him if i decide to change my major when i get back from the mish.

he writes on blogs to give advice for young entrepreneurs as well as people who want to be successful on careers. and life

here's one of them

this is his site. describing the everyday life that he does

Im proud of my uncle, and i look up to him. He's one of the great role models in my life.

Chocolate milk

decided to write something that is on my mind...
i just recently spoke to Clint Lybbert. i think that's how you spell his last name.He told me how one would gain weight in the MTC, which will be a major factor on disrupting my
"eating healthy again stop eating crap kenny watch what you eat diet" and you can workout for one day out of the week. he then went on talking about food and explained me that you would also get unlimited orange juice and chocolate milk and the effects of sitting down for too long if you had too much of it.
i wondere if they would have the delicious chocolate "COOKIES N CREAM" milk i had when i drove up with Edy to Utah during spring break. i guess i will have to go there to find out. I'm so fetching hungry. . . gotta starve myself again.. lol. why does food sound so good right now?

oh yeah the realization

its been a week since i have started this blog. thought i might want to write something more substantial than about stencil graffiti

So yeah, i went to the doctors yesterday for the physical. i had to take tests. test arm strength, flexibility, etc. i had to take a TB test, so tomorrow i gotta go back and check if i have TB, and I'm getting a tetanus booster shot.
[i went with Allen Auman to get my ticket situation dealt with. Afterwards we went to his sisters and went swimming. took some pictures of our amazing short swimsuits.. pretty funny. had some In N' Out in the jacuzzi. went to Fhe. went home. Amazingly, i went to bed around 9. slept so well.]

yesterday felt like summer... time is going by quick...

Now all i need is to go to Dentist. Get a hair cut, take mission picture. [i will look so weird taking a mission picture, wearing church clothes for two YEARS!!!]

Elder Bracamonte... i still cant imagine..

well anyways i gotta get back to do the psych. homework.
will write later.

Art

Stencil graffiti. . .
i am thinking of doing it. its art. i mean you are displaying a thought, a message to those around you. . .
i really think I'm gonna do it. i mean i always wanted to do this, i think the right time should be is when I'm about to leave. Then ask my brother or people i know if its still there while i am gone. lol.
i love stencil graffiti, instead of the Mexican gang names, its stupid. it makes it (makes my area ghetto)

This is my favorite stencil graffiti by DOLK.

what do you think of this picture?

i think im just gonna do this stencil on my wall

The Start

May 10th 2009 "Mothers Day"

i never thought time would come so quickly, that this day would come. i am grateful for the opportunity being able to serve on full time mission. . . I started my papers, and in reality i never thought that the papers would take awhile filling out. They ask about everything: health issues, hobbies, languages one speaks, and hospitalizations. It took about two and half hours filling them out. all i need left is to go my doctors appointment, take a mission picture and see the dentist. Dentist will take awhile, but i do hope that i will be able to finish everything up by the first week of June.

Yesterday i went with my dad to go suit shopping, so i have a new suit. I want to wear it, but i think i should start wearing it when i have my call. I have been reminiscing about my past, and i have grown quite a bit. I grown to a man that i hopes for the best, looking forward, knowing that my past is a part of who i have become. i am moving forward. I am a man that in the beginning i know that i had to go on a mission out of duty, yet later realizing that i have i want to go out to serve the lord.
I have a deep desire to serve to do all i can when I am on the mission, friends have told me that you could be done with school if you didn't go. i know that i am sacrificing my time, but it will all be worth it. I trust in the Lord. i know that this Mission will prepare me for life.
